1987-1994

Greenbriar Veterinary Hospital was started in the shopping center across the street from its present location by Dr. Traynor.  In 1989 he built the present building and continued to build the practice until selling it to Dr. Schumacher in 1994.

1994 - Present

Dr. Schumacher had been practicing in Garland, TX prior to coming to Greenbriar Veterinary Hospital.  He shared the interest in treating birds and exotic pets that Dr. Traynor had.  Shortly thereafter he was joined part time by Dr. Anne Owen.
